Our School

v      50 plus years tradition of Catholic Education in Garden Grove, Orange County, California: Building upon the legacy of the Religious Sisters of Charity, our fully accredited parish school empowers students to give witness to the Gospel in love and service and become responsible members of the Church and community.

v      Grades Pre-school – 3: Teacher and Instructional Aide for an adult to student ratio of less than 20 to 1.

v     Academic Distinction: Meets or exceeds Diocesan, California State, and National Curriculum Standards;

v      California Junior Scholarship Federation: Seventh and Eight Grade Students

v      Outstanding Standardized Test Ranking: School averages rank in upper third of national standardized results for Math and Reading (Grades 2-8).

v      Curriculum: includes Religion, Science, English, Literature, Social Studies, Math, Spelling

v      Catholic Montessori Pre-School Program:  Safe learning and play environment for children.

v      Kindergarten: Fully integrated into the school family, all-day program with emphasis on educational goals, ability to relate to classmates, creative play, art and music.

v      Learning Support Resource Assistance: a specialized element of the school program intended to further assist students to learn in the manner that is most conducive to them. The additional support for students is provided either in the classroom or as a step-out of the classroom for those students who will benefit from focused educational assistance.

v     Computer Curriculum: Grades K-8 computer instruction to reach the standard of being a technologically competent individual who utilizes technology responsibly and demonstrates knowledge of the specific skills presented.

v      Music Program: Structured music program provided to grades K-8. Pre-K program music provided within the daily schedule.

v      Performing Arts: School Choir with performances at school Masses and various parish Masses;

v      School Chaplain: Chaplain available throughout the day for consultation with students, parents, assistance with student preparation for sacraments; Social Justice Program Coordinator; Retreat Program Director and Moderator for all grades.

v      Extended Day Care Program: Daycare provided before school (7:00 a.m.) and after school (Monday through Friday 3:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Supervised assistance provided for homework, outdoor play, and crafts.

v      Hot Lunch Program: Hot lunch available to pre-school-8 grade Monday through Friday. Menus published in weekly communication as well as posted on the school website.

v      Extracurricular Activity: Academic Decathlon, Student Council

v      Interscholastic Sports: Basketball, Football, Softball, and Volleyball
