School Refurbishment Announcement
We want to thank J. F. Shea Foundation for their gracious
gift of assistance with the refurbishment of our school
facility.
Earlier this school year we
applied to the Shea Foundation for a grant to help with
needed improvements/repairs to our school buildings. I am
happy to announce that we have been awarded a Shea
Foundation Grant in the amount of $140,000. At the
conclusion of our school year in June the Shea Foundation
will begin work on our school buildings. The scope of their
work includes the following: installing new white
boards/bulletin boards in all classrooms; updating the
classroom lighting to provide optimum brightness with energy
efficiency, servicing and repairing the roof and gutters on
both school buildings, and completely refurbishing the Jr.
High boys' and girls' restrooms.
It is our hope that when this work is completed, we
will be able to complete further renovations of replacing
the windows and external doors and painting the exterior of
the buildings.
